Moving in Lakewood
Parking is the whole story in Lakewood. On most streets off Detroit and Madison you're carrying everything from wherever you managed to stop, and doing it twice — once out, once in. That's where a loaded dolly earns its keep: four or five totes at a time instead of one armful of boxes, on wheels, with lids that stay shut if it starts raining. We deliver into the Gold Coast high-rises, Birdtown, and the walkable blocks around downtown Lakewood.
For high-rise moves, tell us at booking whether your building requires a freight elevator reservation or a certificate of insurance — it changes what time of day we should show up. Lakewood is about 35 minutes from our base in Eastlake, straight across town, so morning drops are usually the smoothest for both of us.
Here's what you're renting
Every kit includes stackable totes, rolling dollies, labels, delivery, and pickup. No tape, no store runs, nothing to break down after.

27" × 17" × 12" — every tote is the same size, so they stack, nest, and roll on a dolly.

Common Questions

Locally owned. I deliver every kit myself.
BoxTote is a one-van operation based in Eastlake. I started it because moving with cardboard is a miserable way to spend a weekend. When you book, I'm the one who shows up.
